The Agave

Agave means Admirable... and its name says it all

Defying the semi-desert conditions of its environment, the blue agave tequilana weber grows in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. From the volcanic red soil emerges the majestic bluish-green plant that has fascinated people since ancestral times.

In pre-Colombian Mexico, the agave was considered as a divine creation that represented Mayahuel, goddess of fertility. Natives used it as a food and to create a sacred drink, available only for warriors and religious men. It is the magic and the heritage of this mystical plant that gives life to every drop of Tequila Angel Bendito.
